(More customer reviews)This is billed as being made from "100% Down Alternative", whatever that is.They even give an impressive "700FP" fill power rating, to make it sound like this is comparable to an actual down comforter.What you get is a flat, underfilled, thin quilt.Sure, the shell is nice, but it's not the fluffy paradise the pictures lead you to believe.As a summery quilt, I would admit it's fine but way overpriced.If I just had the energy and coordination to return this sham, I would do so.

I notice that the two previous reviews were posted after I had already ordered this, which makes me suspicious: was this a genuinely new item?Or do they just keep switching the listings to stay one step ahead of the bad reputation?The moral: don't buy anything on Amazon that has zero reviews.

And I can't just use the comforter because it's white and it has to be black to match everything else in my leopard print room (hence the black duvet cover) :(

Does a decent job of keeping you comfortable and not over priced at all. Being that allergies are a problem in my house, the lack of down feathers is great. No more itching or sneezing, and getting poked in the night by sharp feather tips that I would later find all over the bedroom. This is a down alternative so the batting inside keeps the allergens low. Also it feels pretty close to a down blanket. Well put together and a very good product for the money. In fact, I liked it so much I just purchased a second one for the guest room.

(More customer reviews)The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the wonderful, soft texture of the material. It's also lovely to look at, with a subtle stripe and silver edging; too bad I'm putting it in a duvet cover since white would clash with my black cats!

The filling looks to be one large piece, with the stitching running across it, so there should be no problem with shifting. The quality is top notch so far (although I haven't washed it yet), and it's very warm--just right for a bedroom kept cool in the winter.
